Casasanta’s spent a lot of his life tinkering around with computers and creating software, with a lot of it being of the Mac variety. These days, he helps create much of what you experience here on MacHeist. And when there isn’t much going on at MacHeist, he’s often tinkering around with a new kind of “computer” and writing about his experiences with it.

Phill dropped out of pursuing an Ivy League education in 2007, seduced by the allures of cooking-up mad software deals for the Mac community, but mostly drawn by the chance to entertain a ton of people. He thinks it was the right choice. Last fall, he worked with a friend on a little iPhone app on the side after becoming tired of trying to explain to his friends what MacHeist is. The app is called Classics, and you may have seen it on TV.

Meinzer serves as more of a “behind-the-scenes” persona within the MacHeist establishment. Nobody really knows what he does, although he’s been caught on occasion pretending to write code. What we do know about him is that he spends most of his time trying to get his Flickr photos “Explored” and obsessing over his Twitter follower count. Oh, and he also dabbles in the telecommunications industry.
