Dear Friends,

After my rant of a few hours ago I decided to stop 'whining', i came here for fun... and that is what I'm going to get.

To help myself I decided to help others first.

Within 24 hours a website will open where every team can view the data of my crawlers. Here are some features:
- personal stats
- team stats
- forum stats
- etc...(everything i can think of)

I'm crawling as much data as I can (already over 1.500.000 data points), but I'm still thinking alone... so other bright minds are welcome.

Brought to you by a proud member of Team Rainbow: the pointless team,
Team Rainbow present The Rainbow Data Interpretation Center located at:
http://rdic.alwaystherighthands.com/

Vrede

Finally finished it up, eh?

You should release the code so others can work on it smile

i wrote the crawler and the first graphs after a night out... i can release it but the first thing you would do after reading it, would be deleting the files

Thank you!

I knew people wanted to know on wich position they are on the leaderboard.

It can be used for the pm'ing of low-point users as well.. select your team color -> points A(scending) -> copy name -> pm
http://rdic.alwaystherighthands.com/ind … points_asc

I'm going for a futurama break, after that i'll start working on user stats and user to user comparison

Nice page...

Feature request:
Take the top 1000 and show how many blue, orange, green and purple members there are. Then show how many percent of the teams total they represent.

I'm planning on doing everything in renderd png's, like the above link, is that fine... or are there people amongst you who need flash/ajax interactive graphs to survive?

I need jquery to surive smile

It would look better anyways.

Also the leaderboard could use some styling - all those colors is hurting my eyes, could you use a colored dot or something else?

Web 2.0 ish look is a must smile

I would prefer ajax driven graphs as well, but I'm not so much of an ajax hero 8)

And i agree on the styling, but the first thing is for me to get the data and the scripts right... after that i will style every pixel i can find. (I stole the color hex's from macheist 8))

can someone test this page for me, it's usability and understandability? http://rdic.alwaystherighthands.com/ind … ge=compare it won't output a graph yet (i'm sometimes to much of a chaotic nerd to make inputs, and outputs, right for the normal user)

do you think it's ok to sort of steal the graphics and style of the MacHeist.com leaderboard so it looks more appealing?
