We’re now in the home-stretch for this year’s bundle. The $199 BoinxTV has now been unlocked and all of you who purchased the bundle will find it on your receipt.

The Mega-Unlock

We’ve set the Mega-Unlock point to go at a relatively stress-free $500,000 raised for charity. When that hits, you’ll have both of the the very eagerly anticipated apps The Hit List ($50) and Espresso ($80) added to your bundle for a combined added value of $130.

I've been tinkering with the Hit List beta and I *NEED* that app in my life. Hopefully I can get it with the bundle, otherwise, I'll be dropping the $50 on it and whatever they ask for the iPhone component.

Let's see what tomorrow brings first, a lot of people are sleeping or off doing normal Sunday things. As soon as the directorate sends out an email saying the unlock was reached there will be more sales.

This is history in the making. The most successful software sale. Hah, and I thought that 25,000 sold by MacUpdate last year was record breaking!

I actually watched it happen: I was looking at the MacHeist home page when the counter ticked over to $400,000. That was really nice to see.

I thought the page might auto-refresh to show BoinxTV unlocked, but unfortunately that didn't happen; I actually had to click Refresh all by myself to make it appear. (Terrible oversight there, Directorate: you should be ashamed of yourselves. )

Anyway, Espresso is what I'm really waiting for, so come on everyone! Get your friends buying! I don't think we can realistically expect any more extra incentives at this stage, so it's just a final slog, now, for the last 20% to be raised.

By the way, Times is fantastic, and a really good added incentive to buy the bundle.

wow, enough with the pessimistic posts... 100k in the last couple of days is not going to be hard to get. I'm assuming everybody that thinks so haven't been around for the previous bundles? I have no doubt that the limit will be both reached and exceeded.

And half a million raised for charity is a great deed. Thanks for everything so far MH!

I'll repeat myself, last year they sold 20.000 bundles in the last 3 days, and 10.000 in the last day. Considering sales are higher already this year anyway they'll make it.
