And we're finally done with the bundle sale for this season. We'd like to send out a huge thanks to everyone for making it such a huge success. With your help, we've sold a record-breaking 88,401 bundles and raised a $842,648 for charity this time around. That was more than twice the amount of bundles sold in MacHeist 2!
Since $842,648 is such an unsightly number, we've decided to top it off to a more attractive $850,000.
We've also decided to add a little something as a way of saying thanks to everyone who participated, so on your receipt page, you'll find a copy of Kedisoft's AppShelf (with a fresh icon makeover by staff designer, David Lanham). With AppShelf, you'll be able to easily store all the license info for the apps in your bundle purchase. (Post your thoughts on AppShelf here.)
It's worth pointing out that things aren't completely over yet... we still have some "points" to be addressed. So stick around and we'll have the answers to *some* of those burning questions that many of you've been asking for the past several weeks. For those of you who came to MacHeist late this season, you likely have no clue as to what I'm talking about, so feel free to start a zillion "what the hell are points?" threads in these forums (go reverse psychology!).
For those of you who've experienced any troubles with your order, I want to assure you that we have plenty of people working hard still to help you get exactly what you purchased. Our goal is to have 100% customer satisfaction when everything's complete. All we ask of you is that you please have some patience while we sort everything out. The nature of doing a big, heavily discounted promotion like this is that there'll inevitably be some issues. But again, we'll do our best to get you what you paid for.
We also have another treat coming up for you... in video form! Hang tight on that as we'll be putting it up in a bit.
Without a doubt, this has been the most enjoyable MacHeist season for me so far. It was a fantastic experience working with my partners Phill & Scott, our incredible and talented staff, interacting with the developers who participated, and just having a lot of fun with all the great members we have here. I'm totally looking forward to getting MacHeist 4 going, but in the meantime, we may have a few things to tide you all over...
So again, a big, big thanks to everyone involved. We hope you all stick around as the forums here always remain pretty active throughout the year and are a fun place to hang out in.
