MacHeist

This was a landmark year for us. If MacHeist 1 was the initial experiment, and MacHeist 2 the polishing up of that experiment, this was the year we felt comfortable trying out some new crazy stuff. Some of that was pretty straightforward and standalone, like the Tweetblasts, high production mission videos or the iPhone app giveaway game on the Giving Tree. Then there were points. A grand experiment to inject some new life into the community that grew into something monstrous in your imaginations.

So, what were the point of the points? We awarded points for members who were involved in our event outside of the bundle. If you were a great member, you racked up a ton of points for your team.

Now, depending on how well your team did, you reap the rewards. You'll find 1-4 of the following freebies after clicking through the thank you page:
