We're hoping this will rock the boat with the sale and help us vanquish those darn remaining unlocks more quickly. Plus, I'm looking forward to meeting the invited members and customers from outside the normal hardcore crowd.

Yep, as long as they haven't already purchased.
It seems like the best way to get the most out of MacHeist this time around is to just wait until the last few days.

Well I was going to plug my link, but it looks like I can't post URLs yet. Anyway, this seems kinda crummy for those of us who don't really have many "mac friends", and who don't want to nag our friends into buying a bundle they probably don't need, Facebook-style. Oh well, I'm perfectly happy with Quicksilver. Hopefully the next app isn't one I can't live without

Like I said in my sig, I only have 1 friend with a Mac, and he said he doesn't care about the bundle. So I'm not going to find anyone in real life who'll use my referral link.

Why not reveal both/all of the potential apps for referring? As it stands, I'd want to refer one now, but then hold off and save any future referrals for the rest of the reveals. It seems like we'd all be a lot more motivated to refer multiple users if we knew what we could earn for it. Just my $0.02

I've added the link/banner to my signature on a forum I visit, but most of the Mac users there know about Macheist anyway.
Thankfully I've got no interest what-so-ever in Launchbar, fingers crossed the same can be said for the second app

Yeah, pretty much the same deal here. My mac friends (all 2 of em) would never buy the bundle. Oh well.

Yeah, I haven't bought the bundle yet (fully intend to though) because it seems the best idea is to hold off.
I was originally gong to buy 3 bundles, for myself and members of my family but the referral thing made me hold off.
Now that we get told the referral only unlocks the first app at this stage, it looks like I'm better of waiting still until the second referral app is unlocked. Then get my friends/family to buy it.
Seems weird that they seem to be encouraging people to hold off buying the bundle as long as possible.
Planning on pumping out some sweet referral banners for those of us with websites?
