I have the official app taking care of scrobbles from my iPod and iPhone. And let CoverSutra take care of iTunes
I'd heard in the past that the official client was a bloated, resource-hog. What's your experience with it been?
I have it set to open up whenever I connect my iPod/iPhone and do its scrobbling. Other than that, I don't use it much. I tend to listen to my own music if I'm at my Mac so don't use the app much for its "radio" features. Whenever I have used it though, everything as run smooth and I've not noticed any slowdown.
My lady friend uses it a lot to find new music. and she hasn't ever mentioned any problems, and that’s running on a old G4 eMac.
I know there has been an update to the software recently that should have addressed some of the "resource-hog" problems I'm told.
I'm feeling old
