We've set up a self-help page for those who are having issues retrieving their license through the TweetBlast:

To use it, just enter your Twitter username. MacHeist will check and see if you've followed us and tweeted at us, and resend your direct message.

This doesn't seem to work with those of us who have protected our updates. I followed the procedure as digitarius, but since macheist didn't follow me, it didn't count, according to the little ulility.
Is there a workaround other than creating a shill account and going through the motions that way?

No luck here either, I guess it's the issue where a protected profile can't participate in tweet blasts.
What are our options? I get yes, yes, no, no when I run the script. Would love to have DevonThink.
